The challenge
Four product teams, four button styles, and a components folder nobody trusted. Every feature started with designers rebuilding primitives, and every release drifted the products a little further apart.
The approach
We inventoried every pattern in production, collapsed them into a tokened core, and shipped it as versioned packages with docs that live next to the code. Adoption was the metric — not coverage.
The outcome
Teams now start from the system instead of around it. New surfaces ship weeks faster, and the four products finally read as one company.
